Tyson Foods, Inc. is an American multinational corporation established in 1935 that operates in the food industry. The company is the world’s second largest processor and marketer of chicken, beef, and pork. Food safety and quality control have always been Tyson’s core concepts which have been integrated into the entire food production chain to ensure that every link from the farm to the table is standard and safe.

Tyson has a wide range of sales channels in China, including retail, catering, and wholesale. The logistics business includes 6 Tyson factories and some supplier factories, covering 7 transportation modes (land, air, railway, sea, self-pickup, etc.)

oTMS Solution

The project mainly achieved following goals:

1) Orders can be transferred through the system to realize online management of the whole process, milestone information recording, data tracking and query;

2) The in-transit information can be updated through oTMS APP/WeChat mini APP, which gives client the fully visibility;

3) Capture location, temperature, speed data through GPS; calculate delivery time and realize early warning through dashboard.

oTMS works with Tyson to create a transparent, visible, safe and controllable food transportation system, which helps Tyson with better and more complete supply chain transportation management capabilities to provide trustworthy food to its customers.
